Child Find
Students with disabilities are served in the Least Restrictive environment based upon their individual needs. Lexington School District Three offers a full continuum of special education programs. The identification of children is based upon Federal and state guidelines. Children may be found eligible in the following areas of disability:
- Autism
- Emotional Disability
- Hearing Impairment
- Learning Disability
- Mental Disability (Mild, Moderate, Severe)
- Orthopedic Impairment
- Other Health Impaired
- Developmental Delay
- Speech or Language Impairment
- Traumatic Brain Injury
- Visual Impairment
Related Services, as appropriate, are also provided and may include:

If you are transferring to Lexington School District Three:
- Register your child at the appropriate school.
- Provide the school with your child's most recent IEP.
- Provide the school with the most recent copies of all evaluations, including psychological and speech reports and related service evaluations; i.e., PT, OT.

Child Find
Lexington School District Three offers developmental screening for children between the ages of three (3) and five (5) NOT currently enrolled in public school. If you suspect that your child has a delay in one of the areas below, please call the Lexington Three District Office at 532-8005 to schedule an appointment for screening:
